| Ein Gericht, welches ich dieses Jahr zum
ersten Mal gegessen hatte, hat sich gleich in die Liste meiner Lieblingsgerichte
katapultiert: Kanom Chin-Nudeln mit Nam Prick-Soße. Die Soße
leicht scharf süßlich, nach Erdnüssen schmeckend. |

| Eine Randbemerkung am Ende des Aufenthaltes: Der prozentuale Anteil
von Wuchtbrummen an der thailändischen Bevölkerung erhöht
sich dank Fastfood-Ketten stetig. Als ich vor 20 Jahren zum ersten Mal
da war, waren es wesentlich weniger. |

This meal I ate the first time this year,
is noodles Kanom Chin with seasoning Nam Prick. It has become one of my
favourite dishes.
One final remark: the percentage of thick
people in Thailand is increasing. Thanks to the fastfood restaurants. When
I was in Thailand the first time, 20 years ago, there were essentially
less thick people.
